kate moss for longchamp.

fashion, london, and kate moss. longchamp's effortless class is perfectly illuminated with London's own fashion icon kate moss. much as burberry and topshop's synonymous relationship with the original heroine chic herself, I think kate will do great things for longchamp. bring a little urban edge to the weekend bag plastered on every campus girl.

thought provoking and I like it.

“what if a demon were to creep after you one night, in your loneliest loneliness, and say, ‘this life which you live must be lived by you once again and innumerable times more; and every pain and joy and thought and sigh must come again to you, all in the same sequence. the eternal hourglass will again and again be turned and you with it, dust of the dust!’ would you throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse that demon? or would you answer,
‘never have I heard anything more divine’?"

happy long weekending :)

reflections of a skyline.

Upon first viewing this video I found it annoying and repetitive and I hated the  'acting'. Months later I scrambled to find it again, craving the testimonials. I guess relationships can be a little repetitive and annoying at times and are definitely not always pure pleasure. I like how the video comes full circle. Like love. Shot over the course of a day on a london rooftopMichael Tamman & Richard Jakes.

3D playboy.

that' a boy hugh...
hopefully this will help the dying industry of print pornography.
originally thought of in 1950s as hugh heffner explains3D imagery in playboy will hopefully add a new dimension to print magazines, especially those like playboy.

dear class of 2010, good luck.

no really. because as if job hunting was not stressful enough. huffington post released an article today reinforcing how screwed we are. 'job market for 2010 worst in recent memory". according to a new study, the unemployment rates are the lowest since 1983. unemployment rates for college graduates under 25 is nearly twice as high compared to before the recession- and that is not even counting those who settle for low paying 'anything they can get' jobs.

erasing david.

when david bond receives a letter that his daughter is among 25 million residents whose details have been lost by the government’s Child Benefit Office, he sets out to  test how far the government can get with the information they have an can access about individuals. erasing david is the film. david makes a decision to leave his pregnant wife and daughter for thirty days while top investigators track him. issues of privacy, public versus private knowledge and paranoia under surveillance are put to the test. an excellent comment on our 'public' society.

de-tagging diligence.

our 'tell all generation' has proven to actually use more censorship than those thirty plus on social media networking sites. in the recent ny times article, holson explains how those in their twenties are more conscious and aware of what is being shared on the internet than any other age bracket. in the Pew study, researchers interviewed 2,253 adults late last summer and found that people ages 18 to 29 were more apt to monitor privacy settings than older adults are, and they more often delete comments or remove their names from photos so they cannot be identified. younger teenagers were not included in these studies, and I am almost positive they do not have such diligence in their facebook sharing.

on to the next one.

I hate moving! While there is something therapeutic about purging and setting up a new abode, twelve times later (actually twelve) -pack up crap- move crap- clean old room- get new place- pack up their crap- move out their crap- clean new room- unpack. I AM OVER IT.
Post grad in the annex starts now.

summer is here.

lets go camping!

e.t. phone home.

If you are not interested in aliens and outer terrestrials you are a liar or have a small brain. life outside earth is the most interesting thing in the world. why? because it humbles us. it tells earthling (you+me) that we are not as important and great as we think we are.
I recommend everyone watch history channel's ancient aliens series.
it is mind blowing the theories scientists have come up with about alien visitations thousands of years ago. evidence of technology like planes being present thousands of years before they were invented.
king tut being an alien himself. passages in the bible of aliens being present. aliens really being humans time traveling from eons in the future. really crazy stuff.
